My name is Heather Jenckes. I started my nursing career over 27 years ago. Initially I was a Certified Nursing Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, Registered Nurse with an Associate of Science in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh. Ultimately obtaining my Bachelors of Science in Nursing through Winston Salem State. Having worked a wide variety of nursing, primarily concentrated in Pediatrics and Emergency Medicine. I have been blessed to observe and witness several types of treatment for a variety of issues and human/equine/canine. I have personally witnessed the positive results from seeking treatment for pain relieve personally, my dogs and horse. PEMF was the answer to finding overall wellness/ non-pharmacological approach to relief.
As equine competition competitor, I wanted something that was lasting/drug free/promote recovery after competition. I know if I was sore or in pain, my horse would have to have similar issues. I routinely would use PEMF on myself and horse to make us the more prepared/competitive.
Promoting relaxation, recovery in preparation for another long day of competition.
Recently over the last few years, my horse Alfie, aka Kiss My Sweet Assets, suffered from hoof issues. experiencing potential career ending/life threatening hoof issues. I took Alfie a world recognized equine hospital for expert treatment. Alfie had been diagnosed with mechanical laminitis and founder. Alfie had been suffering in pain for an extended period of time. This dynamic team devised at plan of care to road to recovery. Not only was therapeutic shoeing necessary, PEMF was prescribed as well. PEMF was administered over his entire body with an area of concentration on hooves. In efforts, to promote increased blood flow with enhance proper functioning and rebuilding at a cellular level.
The benefit of PEMF and expert care, Alfie’s next visit to the clinic revealed positive changes/grown in his hooves. Results shifting his questionable to prognosis from questionable/fair to favorable. THIS TREATMENT WORKS!! After sticking to the plan of care and PEMF. Alfie is now rideable, sound and comfortable.
